Das Emirat befindet sich rund 20 Kilometer von der Metropole Dubai entfernt und ist vollst\u00e4ndig vom Emirat Sharjah umschlossen. Zur Landesfl\u00e4che Ajmans geh\u00f6ren zus\u00e4tzlich noch die beiden kleinen Exklaven Manama und Masfut.<\/p>\n<p>Ajman ist das \u00e4rmste aller sieben Emiraten der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, da es keine eigenen Erd\u00f6l- oder Erdgasvorkommen besitzt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Wirtschaft Ajmans lebt gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils vom Baugewerbe, der Fertigungsindustrie, vom Fischfang, vom Schiffsbau sowie vom stetig steigenden Tourismus. In den beiden Exklaven werden sogar Landwirtschaft betrieben und Marmor abgebaut.<\/p>\n<p>Die gleichnamige Hauptstadt des kleinen Emirats ist Ajman mit etwa 320.000 Einwohnern, direkt am Persischen Golf gelegen.<\/p>\n<p>Zu den wenigen Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten Ajmans z\u00e4hlen das Ajman Fort, der Fischmarkt, der Ajman Strand, das Ajman Museum sowie die K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe.<\/p>\n<p>Das Emirat Ajman habe ich schon unz\u00e4hlige Male besucht und kenne mich dort daher besten aus. Der H\u00f6hepunkt der Stadt ist eindeutig die lange K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe mit seiner modernen Strandpromenade.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"gdgallery-gallery-container\" id=\"gdgallery-container-195\"
